Job Summary
Oxbo is a leader in providing agricultural machinery to niche markets worldwide. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our global technology team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, with 7-10 years of experience writing embedded C and the ability to write scripts in Python. A bachelor's degree in electrical/computer/software engineering is also required.
The successful candidate will play a key role in developing Oxbo's next generation Machine Application Framework (MAF), working closely with our European partners to design and implement MAF features that meet the needs of our enterprise.
Main Responsibilities:
- Design and implementation of MAF features (in C) that support the enterprise.
- Act as an advocate for best software engineering practices within the enterprise.
- Responsible for configuration management of the MAF.
- Create software test documents and bench test software before releasing to HIL and/or field testing.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical/computer/software engineering.
- Ability to write scripts in Python.
- 7-10 years of experience writing embedded C.
- Desire or openness to work in the agricultural field.
