What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Time Server/Bartender position at Oxbow Golf & Country Club?
Oxbow Country Club is looking to expand our seasonal team with enthusiastic, service-driven individuals who are passionate about creating exceptional dining experiences for our members and guests. We're currently hiring full-time staff (35–40 hours/week) for the upcoming season.
Positions are available from April through September, with the possibility of year-round employment for the right candidate. You'll have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings—including our clubhouse and on-course snack shacks—making every shift a little different.
Compensation includes hourly wages plus tips.
Requirements:
- Must be 21 to bartend, 16 to serve
- Friendly, reliable, and eager to learn
- Willingness to follow our service training and uphold high hospitality standards
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Skills:
- Previous serving or bartending experience (not required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfort using point-of-sale systems
- Food and beverage certification(s) a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and serve members and guests with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Take orders, deliver food and beverages, and ensure satisfaction throughout the dining experience
- Make recommendations and answer menu questions
- Maintain a clean and welcoming environment
- Follow all food safety and beverage service protocols
