We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Swimming Pool Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed and accurate designs for various projects, consulting with clients and contractors, and utilizing their expertise in mechanical design and drafting. The Designer will work closely with other team members to ensure that designs meet the necessary standards and are in line with the company's vision.Duties : Prepare detailed designs and schematics for various projects, utilizing computer detailed software.Collaborate with team members and other stakeholders to ensure that designs meet the required specifications and are feasible for construction.Conduct thorough research to identify the most effective and efficient design solutions for the project.Develop and maintain accurate and detailed records of design progress, including design iterations and changes.Ensure that all designs are compliant with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.Participate in the development of project proposals and budgets, providing input on design and construction costs.Interact with crews, homeowners, general contractors, landscape architects, and subcontractors.Schedule with subcontractors and construction crews.Track job costs vs estimated costs.Manage bi-monthly and monthly billing.Submit as-builts and project close-out.Skills and Experience Desired : Proficiency in CAD software.Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and drafting techniques.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with colleagues and clients.Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.Familiarity with construction methods and materials.A passion for innovation and a commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest design trends and technologies.Literacy in blueprints, scope of work, and specifications docs.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.Time management skills to work on multiple projects concurrently.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.An interest in landscaping; if you do not have experience in landscaping, please demonstrate your interest in a cover letter.Clean and valid driver’s license.Job Type : Full-timeSalary : Annual salary from $90,000 - $125,000 per year, paid weekly.
