What are the responsibilities and job description for the Azure Optimization Manager position at Oxenham Group?
Our customer is working with a Global Technology company and supporting a Government project to ensure national security. The ideal candidate has an active TS / SCI and hands-on experience implementing ne Azure solutions. This will be 100% on-site in Lorton, VA.
Key Responsibilities :
- Monitor and analyze Azure subscription costs for multiple clients. Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize resource allocation.
- Generate detailed cost reports and trend analysis for clients. Provide regular updates and insights on cost performance.
- Work with Azure resources, including virtual machines, databases, and storage, to ensure efficient utilization and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with clients to define and enforce business policies related to Azure usage, security, and compliance.
- Ensure that Azure resources are aligned with client-specific governance and security standards. Implement and maintain governance frameworks.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, explaining cost trends, resource allocation, and governance policies in a clear and concise manner.
