QA Analyst with Salesforce Experience
Position Overview :
The Quality Analyst (QA) will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Data & Integration systems. This role involves developing and executing test plans, identifying bugs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve processes. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in quality assurance practices, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans covering various scenarios.
Identify, document, and track defects or inconsistencies accurately.
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) to understand issues and prevent recurrence.
Perform data analysis and validation to ensure data quality and consistency across different Data Integration platforms using SQL and SOQL.
Ensure data integrity within Salesforce and correct integration with other platforms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business stakeholders, to uphold quality standards.
Implement and support reporting and analytics infrastructure for internal business customers using data integration services (e.g., Kafka, MuleSoft, Salesforce).
Guide internal customers in developing, troubleshooting, and optimizing complex SQL solutions.
Identify opportunities to enhance testing processes, improve efficiency, and implement new strategies or tools to strengthen quality assurance efforts.
Lead small to medium projects and support complex initiatives within a team environment.
Analyze and review potential adjustments or modifications for impacts on other programs.
Highly Desired Skills (Critical to Success) :
Salesforce Experience (2-3 years) : Proficient in creating custom queries using SOQL, integrating data with external systems, and understanding Salesforce objects, data structure, and data management best practices.
Data & Integration Platforms (3-4 years) : Strong knowledge of internal operational data stores, database architecture, and relational / non-relational concepts (e.g., SQL Server, MongoDB, Snowflake).
Defect Identification & Root Cause Analysis (RCA) : Expertise in identifying bugs and conducting thorough root cause analysis to prevent future issues.
Desired Skills :
Reporting and Analytics : Experience with data integration services like Kafka, MuleSoft, and Salesforce to support reporting and analytics infrastructure.
Test Planning and Execution : Proficient in designing comprehensive test plans and executing systematic tests with accurate documentation of results.

Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
3-4 years of experience in quality assurance with a focus on data & integration platforms.
2-3 years of hands-on Salesforce experience.
Proficient in SQL, SOQL, and other database query languages.
Familiarity with data integration processes and tools is required.
