Our aerospace and defense client in Goleta, CA is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join their team. Their operations provide critical systems and components for modern military vehicles.
Qualifications :
- Strong proficiency in Embedded C or Embedded C
- Experience with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) and embedded Linux.
- Familiarity with communication protocol drivers and stacks (e.g., networking, 1553, UART, SPI, I2C).
- Ability to read and understand electronic part datasheets, electrical schematics, and communication protocol documentation.
- Experience in Unix internals, low-level driver software, and GUI software is beneficial.
- Willingness to travel 10-15%.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.
