Job Title: IT Project Manager
Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced IT Integration Program Manager to lead the technology transition efforts during new office launches, company acquisitions, and expansions. This role is vital in ensuring a smooth, efficient, and secure integration of IT systems and infrastructure, aligning technology with the organization’s broader strategic goals. The ideal candidate will bring strong project management capabilities and a deep understanding of IT operations within high-growth environments. This position may also support other enterprise-wide IT initiatives as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Pre-Acquisition Assessments:
- Evaluate the existing IT environment of incoming entities, including infrastructure, systems, and applications.
- Identify potential risks, gaps, and integration opportunities.
2. Integration Strategy & Planning:
- Design detailed IT integration roadmaps that outline steps, resources, timelines, and success metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to align IT strategy with operational goals.
3. Data Transition & Security:
- Oversee secure migration of data, ensuring integrity, availability, and confidentiality throughout the process.
- Coordinate backups and validation procedures to ensure seamless transitions.
4. System Alignment & Standardization:
- Review system compatibility between legacy and target environments.
- Develop and implement integration solutions to optimize performance and minimize disruption.
5. Stakeholder Communication:
- Provide consistent updates to internal stakeholders through written reports and presentations.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams, business units, and external vendors.
6. Risk & Issue Management:
- Proactively identify risks and formulate mitigation strategies.
- Develop contingency plans to handle unexpected technical or operational challenges.
7. Compliance & Regulatory Coordination:
- Ensure all IT transition activities are aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with legal and compliance teams to address jurisdictional nuances.
8. Training & Change Management:
- Coordinate training sessions and early support efforts to help staff adapt to new systems.
- Track and prioritize user issues, working with relevant teams to resolve them quickly.
9. Onsite Integration Leadership:
- Serve as the onsite lead during deployments, guiding vendors and internal teams through the execution phase.
- Participate in onsite due diligence when evaluating potential acquisitions.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field preferred.
Experience:
- 10 years of experience in IT project or program management.
- Demonstrated success managing IT transitions during mergers, acquisitions, or similar high-impact initiatives.
- Broad knowledge of infrastructure, networks, end-user devices, enterprise software, and integration best practices.
Technical Proficiency:
- Skilled in project management frameworks and tools (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, MS Project, Jira).
Salary : $110,000 - $150,000
