Role Overview
This is a full-time role for a Lab Associate at Oxford Cancer Analytics located in the greater Denver area. The position will conduct sample preparation and analysis, and support the lab operations of a CLIA laboratory. The ideal candidate has some experience working in a high-throughput laboratory operations and knowledge of regulatory requirements for CLIA. This role reports to the Lab Director at OXcan.
Qualifications
Education
- B.A or B.S degree in chemistry, biochemistry or related area
Skills & Competencies:
- 1-2 years of hands-on experience in a lab (Required).
- Experience handling and processing biological samples – such as blood, serum, plasma (Preferred).
- Experience running and operating lab instruments (Preferred).
- Experience with LC/MS and LC/MS/MS (Preferred).
- Proficient in the use of computers and the ability to learn new systems/software (Required).
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail (Required).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively (Required).
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare samples for analysis, and analyze on instruments per SOPs
- Conduct laboratory experiments and troubleshooting
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of experiments and results
- Organize and maintain lab equipment and supplies
- Adhere to all safety requirements, policies and procedures, complete all required safety and health training requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned
Salary Range: $ 50,000 - $75,000, depending on qualifications and experience
