Position Summary
Responsible for ensuring the overall effectiveness of drink service in the casino area. Provides direction to guests or attendees in this area as needed. Shows dignity, kindness and respect for guests and team members. Set up work area, maintain, and work a shift or shifts. Adherence to company standards and directives.
Essential Job Functions
- Adheres to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Deliver and dispense correct beverages for guests.
- Greet internal and external guests in a warm tone and smile, with eye contact. Present and maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
- Work safely, with sanitation, efficiency, and with guest’s loyalty in mind.
- Is a role model for the company and responds to questions positively and proactively.
- Be detail oriented and ensure that all items are correct, perhaps hundreds of times over.
- Able to perform under stressful, demanding situations in perhaps small quarters of four feet or less, with four foot access and contact with Team Members and guests. Ability to work in a non-smoking environment.
- Rotate products First In, First Out; insures cleanliness and orderliness of the outlet.
- Work with communication devices such as telephones and bulletin boards.
- Speak and interact with guests to maintain great guest relations and provide opportunities for loyalty to occur.
- Presents and prepares all beverages from approved recipes with proper garnishes; gives timely alcohol service to all guests while maintaining proper alcohol awareness procedures.
- Maintains confidentiality and security of relevant information.
- Maintains an awareness of applicable laws and operates within those guidelines.
Job Specifications
- Demonstrated record of successful interpersonal skills in regard to working with diverse people and levels of authority.
- Work any shift needed and if under 21, possess ability to obtain a State of Maine Gaming License.
- Multi-task ability and able to complete all tasks with minimal supervision and show a sense of urgency no matter what the business volume.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
- This position requires sufficient experience, education and job knowledge to meet current business needs.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Required prolonged standing and walking with mobility. Bending and reaching from a level height to 6 feet. Normal hearing, vision, and hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity
