Now Hiring: Caregiver
Responsibilities:
- Accomplishes job duties in a timely, safe, and professional manner.
- Recognizes and responds to priorities in the performance of his/her duties.
- Cooperatively responds in performing resident care tasks.
- Assists and/or provides reminders to residents in the performance of “Activities of Daily Living”.
- Maintains a clean and safe environment for self, residents, and others.
- Performs housekeeping and laundry tasks as assigned.
- Assists with the operations of the facility.
- Participates in fire drills and other safety and risk management activities
- Demonstrates a cooperative manner in meeting the special event needs of the facility
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous caregiving experience either in Assisted Living or other health care setting preferred.
- Annual TB testing and/or screening.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds and be able to perform frequent bending.
- Must have knowledge of practices and procedure of caregiving care sufficient enough to follow accepted practices.
