Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests.
- Supervises the bar team
- Attend to tables
- Receives orders from patrons and waitstaff.
- Prepare and serve wine, spirits, and mixed drinks ensuring proper pouring, and mixing according to recipes established by Stovall house.
- Ensures that fruit and other garnishes are prepared ahead of the opening of the bar.
- Maintains the bar and keeps it clean and organized.
- Attractively displays glasses and liquor bottles.
- Keeps bar supplied with all necessary tinctures, bitters syrups, and batches.
- Collect information on guest preferences to ensure personalized service on every visit.
- Maintain a working knowledge of our liquors, beer, wines, and specialty cocktails.
- Ensures that customers are of legal drinking age by checking photo IDs.
- Collects money from customers for drinks prepared and served.
- Maintain inventory and submits orders or creates requisition forms for liquor, beer, and other bar-related supplies.
- Collect information on guest preferences to ensure personalized service on every visit.
- Maintain a working knowledge of our liquors, beer, wines, and specialty cocktails.
Job Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Extensive knowledge of drink preparation or service.
- Strong food and beverage knowledge
- Excellent interpersonal skills and focus on serving customers.
- Ability to remain calm and excellent conflict management skills.
- Ability to learn cash register software used by bar or restaurant.
Education and Experience:
- Completion of mixology, barkeeping, or other related training required.
- At least one year of related experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods standing and preparing drinks.
- Ability to complete orders quickly and accurately.
- Must be able to lift at least 15 pounds.
- Must be legal drinking age or older.
