What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Social Worker position at Oxford Consulting Services, Inc.?
Oxford Consulting Services is currently interviewing for a Full-Time School Social Worker to provide school-based services 5 days a week supporting a middle school caseload. Providers will work one on one with students, as well as other staff members and disciplines to provide customized programs and intervention to meet each students goals and needs. Job Details:
- Case Management
- Counseling - both group and individual
- IEP attendance It is mandatory that our contractors attend all IEP meetings the schools request them at. The schools make every effort to work with all the team members schedules, but there may be times when contractors may need to work to fit the meeting into their schedule.
- Updating student progress
- School Hours are 8am-3pm. Half hr break, 6.5 hours per day.
Minimum qualifications:
- Valid Social Worker license in NJ
- NJ Social Worker School Credential
- 1 year of school-based ; children ages 3-18
- Experience in IEP services and assessments preferred
