Responsibilities:
- Provide armed security services to protect personnel, property, and assets
- Conduct routine patrols and monitor surveillance systems to ensure the safety and security of the premises
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, including emergencies and disturbances
- Enforce access control procedures and verify the identity of individuals entering or exiting the premises
- Maintain a visible presence to deter illegal activities and provide a sense of security
- Conduct investigations and write detailed incident reports as necessary
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and emergency services when required
Requirements:
- Must have a valid armed security officer license/certificate
- Prior experience in law enforcement, military, or private security preferred
- Strong knowledge of conflict management techniques and ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and professionally
- Proficient in surveillance techniques and the operation of CCTV systems
- Familiarity with loss prevention strategies and procedures
- CPR, First Aid, and AED certification preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure
