Job Title: Electrical Engineer (Failure Analysis/Verification/Validation)
Location: San Diego, CA Hybrid (Minimum 2 days onsite per week)
Length of Contract: 6 Months ( possible extension)
Process: 2 Rounds of Interviews ( Individual Screen Panel Screen)

Scope: This role supports the R&D Sustaining Group, focusing on quality and failure analysis, end-of-life verification, hardware enhancements, and corrective actions. Responsibilities include design verification, validation, ability to read/interpret schematics, ensuring product reliability and compliance.
Candidates should have an EE background with hands-on experience in troubleshooting, failure analysis, and testing.
Key Responsibilities: The engineer will conduct fault analysis, root cause investigations, and corrective actions while supporting end-of-life verification, hardware enhancements, and design validation. They will develop test plans, oversee documentation, and support lab activities using oscilloscopes and analyzers. Additionally, they will ensure compliance with industry standards and electrical specifications.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience) with 5 years in ability to read/interpret Schematic (prior design work will be helpful), and electrical validation.
They should have hands-on experience with troubleshooting, testing, and lab tools, along with experience with using Allegro Cadence, OrCAD, SAP, and Microsoft Office.
Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential. Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree and experience.
