Location: Remote, but local to Cincinnati. Needs to be able to travel onsite as needed
Duration: 6 month contract to hire
Salary expectations: 100k-110k
Client is looking for a network engineer to assist with analyzing, planning, designing, implementing, and maintaining the company s computer networks and related voice, video, and data electronic systems and applications.
Must Have:
Cisco/Meraki Route/Switch/Firewall
SDWAN (we use Velo)
Understanding of how Zebra/Android RF Devices interact with Wireless Networks
Cloud Edge connectivity
Designs, specifies, and documents Wireless Access Points (we use Extreme)
Nice to have:
Analyzes system workloads including traffic and utilization trends. Identifies and recommends adjustments or improvements.
Participates in the maintenance of network services such as DNS, DHCP, IP routing, and IPP network administration.
Designs, specifies, and documents LAN configurations according to user needs, using outside support resources as appropriate.
Participates in the maintenance of telephony and voicemail systems.
Evaluates application software packages against user requirements and makes appropriate recommendations relating to network performance.
Maintains a current knowledge of relevant technologies.
Participates in the maintenance of network hardware and software configurations
