Cisco Network Engineer
Target Start: 2/24
Onsite (East of Cincinnati, OH area)
Initial Duration: through 2025, will possibility to extend
-Client is in need of an onsite Network Engineer, capable of installing equipment, strong with Cisco routers/switches, able to work with people to identify issues and troubleshoot.
-Most of the architecture and configuration is done, but they are migrating off of older infrastructure and network, and need help with lots of installs, deployments.
-They use EIGRP, but not a ton of routing; lots of VLAN and configuring ports.
-Candidate needs to be comfortable in an industrial facility (steel toed boots required). Role will require physical lifting.
-Networking certifications are a plus, CCNA, CCNP, Network , and any cyber-security related interest/certifications helpful (ie CISSP)
-Exposure to Systems Administration or familiarity with both Windows and Linux would be helpful (this isn t the major factor in the role, but it would be helpful long term).
Must:
-Strong Cisco Networking
-Steel-Toed Boots Required
-Onsite
-Able to work with users to troubleshoot/identify issues
Preferred:
-Network certifications
-Organization/ Project Management skills
