Job Description
Full-time, Exempt
- Supports the program manager of a government agency’s digitalization and records management program with staff of 200
- Remote and at New Carrollton, Maryland client site. Occasional travel to program site in another state
- Supports operation of project PMO
- Maintains Microsoft Project WBS, conducts project scheduling, and cost, schedule, performance reporting
- Serves as the primary interface with the federal government customer
- Consult with the COR concerning the performance of each contract task, work progress, scheduling, costs, personnel assignments, work priorities, and work performance
- Collects, compiles, analyzes, and presents all required reports to the COR
- Leads status meetings
- Works with the contracting officer, COR, and government task manager to resolve contractual issues which may exist
- Ensures the execution of day-to-day tasks directed at achieving the goals of the project
- Prepares PMBOK compliant project management plan to include the technical approach, resources, and deliverables schedule. Provides cost, schedule, performance status updates
- Provides supervision and direction of all contract activities
- Provides supervision of personnel to perform work accurately, efficiently, and within established time frames to attain the required performance metrics
- Oversees staffing levels to ensure there is no lapse in services
- Monitors metrics and targets for service volume and timeliness
- Supervises the program’s operations
- Implements training to update staff on customer response standards, scripts, operational policies, and procedures
