Job Description
- Join a growing “Inc. 500” firm.
- Primary responsibility is to provide HR support to large federal contract management. HR support includes interviewing applicants, processing candidate background investigation paperwork, and onboarding new hires.
- Reports to the HR specialist.
- Works under direction of senior personnel.
- Conducts pre-employment screening interviews, checks references, and responds to routine questions on HR policy.
- Provides administrative support to HR functions, including recruiting, employee/labor relations, compensation, benefits, training, EEO, and employee records.
- Maintains attendance and employee records.
- Compiles statistics for various HR management reports.
- Performs basic HR duties and administrative tasks.
- Performs data entry.
- Takes meeting minutes.
- Handles confidential information with discretion.
- Answers inbound corporate phone calls.
Experience/Qualifications
- High school diploma, bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of one year of office management, administrative, or HR experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong computer skills
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- U.S. citizen
