Role Description
This is an on-site, full-time role for a High School Spanish Teacher, starting school year 2025-2026. The Spanish Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging, CI-based Spanish lessons (we use the SOMOS curriculum), and planning daily lessons. This role involves conducting classroom activities, assessing student progress, and supporting students in their language learning journey.
Qualifications
- Valid Maine Spanish Certification
- Experience in Spanish Teaching and strong proficiency in the Spanish language
- Background in Teaching and Education
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment
- Bachelor's degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field
- Experience in a high school setting is a plus
- Experience of CI strongly preferred
- Must be a US citizen or US resident with a work permit
- Must reside in the state of Maine
