THE POSITION:
Patient Care RN Infusion Specialist - Holistic Healthcare - Brighton – Full-time (Mon-Fri) - No weekends
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Passionate about holistic medicine
- Managing and coordinating patient care
- Identifying progress toward desired patient care outcomes
- Conducting medical intake sessions
- Following up with clients after medical intake sessions via email and phone with research studies
- Being present in the Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) room for first session (Dives) - Review paperwork and consents. RN signature on paperwork.
- Call to see if implanted electronic devices have been pressure tested
- Monitoring delivery of care by completing rounds in Physical Therapy, ABA, HBOT
- Follow Up on HBOT clients with ear problems. Refer and/or confer with Medical on staff Director or ENT as needed.
- HBOT Exit Reviews and Mid Reviews
- Ongoing communication with caregivers, clients, families, and other parties
- Continuing to ensure that clients are receiving the very best care
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Must be proficient at starting and monitoring IV's (required)
- Familiarity with office equipment and phone systems
- Excellent phone etiquette
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Superior organizational and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and kind demeanor
- Able to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Able to act decisively and maintain discretion
- Excellent computer skills required
- Familiarity with electronic health record programs a plus
Education and Experience:
- Preferred Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- RN Licensure in the State of Michigan
- 5 years of Nursing experience
- Required - Interest in Holistic Medicine
