About the Opportunity:
The Service and Strategic Growth Manager – Americas plays a pivotal role in leading the development, execution and optimization of sales strategies for service offerings across North and South America. This position focuses on fostering a high-performance sales culture and empowering the team to deliver exceptional results by leveraging data-driven insights, cross-functional collaboration, and customer centric solutions.

The role requires close alignment with internal stakeholders, including Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Service, and Finance to identify growth opportunities and optimize service delivery processes. The Service and Strategic Growth Manager – Americas will also work collaboratively with OEM partners and third-party channels to expand market reach and create sustainable revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the creation and execution of service sales strategies to achieve and exceed annual sales goals for service contracts, upgrades, and renewals.
Cultivate relationships with key accounts, OEM partners, and distribution networks to maximize service revenue and long-term retention.
Drive CRM optimization to ensure pipeline accuracy, opportunity tracking and strategic forecasting.
Champion team development by coaching and mentoring individual contributors, and fostering accountability, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Analyze market trends to identify new service opportunities and develop proactive solutions to customer challenges.
Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance product and service alignment with market needs.
Ensure discounting policies are adhered to, minimizing margin erosion through strategic pricing initiatives.
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and webinars to enhance brand visibility and establish thought leadership.
Diligently manage expense and operational budgets to maximize efficiency.
Ensure timely reporting on service sales performance, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence such as established KPIs.

Key Performance Metrics
Achievement of annual service sales growth targets across all service product lines.
Demonstrated improvement in customer retention and Net Promoter Scores (NPS).
Successful expansion of the service sales funnel and generation of new revenue opportunities.
Establishment and reinforcement of a performance-based culture within the team.
Delivery of accurate CRM forecasting and reporting aligned with strategic goals

About the Candidate:
We are looking for a highly driven professional with 7 years of progressives sales experience in the scientific instrument or services industry. You should have a proven track record of leading successful sales teams, preferably in service sales, with an expertise in customer engagement and retention strategies. Ability to travel up to 30% of the time, including occasional international travel. This is a hybrid position based out of the Concord, MA office location.

Additional Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree preferred
Strong understanding of the scientific instrument market, including Electron Microscopy, Raman, and NMR technologies.
Excellent leadership, communication and negotiation skills
Data-driven decision-making skills with proficiency in CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce)
High sense of urgency and results-oriented mindset
Listens and engages with customers, colleagues, shareholders, and partners for mutual success.
Understands own strengths and weaknesses and recognises their impact on others.

Continually improves performance of self and contribution to the team.

Takes ownership of own continuous professional development.
