Oxford Physical Therapy Centers, a physical therapist-owned facility committed to providing exceptional, progressive care since 1993, is currently seeking a hybrid Front Desk Receptionist. This role will be based at our Chancellor Clinic, with a schedule of 3 days a week at the desk and 2 days a week in the Independence clinic. This is a great opportunity if you are in a gap year or planning to attend PT or PTA school in the future. We’re looking for someone eager to gain experience in a professional, hands-on environment.
As a Front Desk Receptionist, you will assist patients with scheduling and registering through our customized software, verifying insurance, and answering patient phone calls. You will also collect co-payments, prepare deposits, and send correspondence to medical offices. Additionally, you will serve as an extension of our skilled clinicians by retrieving necessary equipment and paperwork for patients, as well as assisting with cleaning and prepping.
Key Qualifications:
High School Diploma (recent exercise science or exercise physiology graduates/experience welcomed)
Medical office experience preferred, but not required
Available to work 3 days a week at our Chancellor Clinic (with hybrid flexibility)
Excellent communication and listening skills
Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask
Experience handling confidential and sensitive information
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook
Ability to work Monday – Friday, between 7 am and 7 pm (hours vary by clinic needs)
