JOB SUMMARY
Perform complex systems management and configuration management of IT infrastructure environment. Provide mentorship and guidance to less experienced staff.
Primary responsibilities :
Manage and maintain enterprise storage environment.
- Provision block and file storage across NetApp and Pure Storage Arrays
- Manage SAN infrastructure. Adding and deleting zones.
- Provide reporting on storage consumption, growth rates, trouble areas, etc.
- Participate in architecture and design discussions.
- Perform storage duties during quarterly DR test.
Secondary responsibilities :
Manage and maintain virtualization environment (VMware / Nutanix).Maintain server hardware (HPE / Cisco / Dell).Job Profile Summary

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Collaborate with other subject matter experts to assist and recommend strategy for core technologiesManage complex problems which escalate beyond the status of incident. Coordinate the appropriate personnel to troubleshoot and resolve the problemResponsible for solving highly technical problems on multiple projects and providing consultative support to internal staff. May act as mentor to less experienced employeesPerform root cause analysis on resolved problems. Design and develop appropriate monitoring or other proactive measures to prevent future occurrencesMentor staff members during problem resolution and root cause analysis to increase their efficiency and knowledgeCreate and review documentation relating to the architecture, configuration and maintenance of infrastructure technologiesProvide configuration and engineering for new technologiesLead the support and configuration activities for technologies as an assigned subject matter expertComplete tasks assigned in order to accomplish approved application and / or infrastructure change controlsCollaborate with other IT personnel on technology and support issues, providing proactive and timely communicationConsult with applications and infrastructure personnel on new initiatives and the impacts they will have on infrastructureExcellent written and verbal communication skillsWorks independently with minimal supervisionMaintains subject matter expertise in technology infrastructure, equipment and systems including information security and governanceEducation
Bachelor's Degree in computer sciences or an equivalent combination of the following formal education and job-related experience. The level of knowledge needed for this position is typically obtained with ten plus years of experience in a discipline relevant to core IT architecture.Work Experience
