Oxford Solutions is working with a client seeking a Litigation Attorney with 3 to 5 years of litigation experience for a full-time, direct hire opportunity. This role requires a Juris Doctorate and active membership in good standing with both the Maryland and Virginia Bar. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a high-volume caseload and possess strong organizational and prioritization skills.
Responsibilities
- Handle all aspects of litigation, including legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
- Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and trials
- Manage and prioritize a large caseload efficiently and effectively
- Provide legal counsel on matters related to title, bankruptcy, foreclosure, and mortgage banking
- Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
Qualifications
- Juris Doctorate and admission to the Maryland and Virginia Bar (in good standing)
- 3 to 5 years of litigation experience
- Previous experience in title, bankruptcy, foreclosure, and/or mortgage banking preferred
- Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
