Job Description

Oxford Solutions is helping an aerospace defense client fill a role for a Proposal Manager. As the Proposal Manager will work on cutting-edge projects related to advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Blockchain, Virtual Reality, Cloud Native solutions, and Quantum Physics.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the entire proposal development process, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company objectives.
Direct proposal personnel and resources to deliver compliant, compelling, and competitive proposals.
Develop and manage proposal schedules and deadlines.
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and business development teams.
Ensure proposals meet all compliance, legal, and quality standards.
Oversee and improve proposal strategies, content, and presentation.
Coordinate and lead proposal reviews and ensure continuous progress throughout the proposal lifecycle.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 8 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 6 years of relevant experience.

Proven experience managing complex proposals, preferably in the aerospace or defense industry.

Must be a U.S. Citizen due to the nature of the work.

Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance within a reasonable timeframe.

Eligible to obtain a Top-Secret clearance with SCI (Sensitive Compartmented Information) access.

Strong leadership, project management, and organizational skills.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple proposals and meet strict deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience working on proposals involving advanced technologies such as AI, blockchain, VR, cloud-native solutions, and quantum physics.

Previous experience working in a defense contracting environment.
