In this role you will be leading recruitment and employee lifecycle processes/activities for a manufacturing site (ex: requisition processing, coordinating interview, extending offers, managing new hire orientation, terminations etc.).
Essential Functions
- Responsible for employee lifecycle processes.
- Leads recruitment activities, including requisition processing, coordinating interview scheduling, participating in interviews, providing feedback, collaborating with hiring managers on selecting candidates, and extending offers.
- Maintains regular communication with candidates during the background check and drug screen process through verbal and written correspondence.
- Manages new hire orientation and assists with benefits enrollment processes.
- Leads outreach efforts by promoting and maintaining relationships with civic and educational institutions.
- Assists in the development of the Affirmative Action Plan and related reports/documentation.
- Coordinates various Plant Engagement, Recognition, Wellness Programs, and events.
- Assists plant positive employee relations/community involvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management / Industrial / Labor Relations/ or related field
- Minimum 1 years of experience in Human Resources or Talent Acquisition.
- Knowledge of current Federal and State labor/employment laws
- Excellent PC skills; Proficiency with Microsoft applications and Outlook
- Excellent communication and employee relations skills
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
- PHR certification
- Experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Experience with large ramp up of business in a manufacturing or similar industrial environment.
- Specialized knowledge of the interpretation of laws, regulations and standards, and enforcement agencies for equal employment opportunities, safety, wage and hour, unemployment, workers' compensation and labor law.
