Opportunity available for a Cloud Operations Engineer where you'll support and optimize cloud-based infrastructure, enhance system performance, and ensure secure, reliable operations across diverse environments.
Responsibilities:
- Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD pipelines
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform or Ansible
- Maintain and optimize databases (SQL queries, ETL, indexing, backup/recovery)
- Monitor systems with tools like Prometheus and Grafana
- Automate tasks using Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Collaborate with development, QA, and IT teams for seamless deployment
- Enforce security best practices and compliance standards (HIPAA, PCI, etc.)
- Manage configurations and document network and server setups
- Respond to incidents and troubleshoot operational issues
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 3 years’ experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
- 3 years working with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure)
- Experience with IaC and scripting languages
- Solid understanding of network protocols and cloud security
Preferred Skills:
- Cloud certifications (e.g., Google Cybersecurity, AWS Certified Solutions Architect)
- Agile/Scrum environment experience
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
