Oxford Solutions is working wiht an engineering client seeking an experienced Engineering Assistant Manager with a background in Protection & Control (P&C) or Substation Engineering. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, with a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license strongly preferred. This role involves overseeing engineering teams, providing technical guidance, and ensuring high-quality project execution.
Essential Duties
- Lead and manage substation and protection & control (P&C) design projects.
- Provide technical guidance, training, and mentoring for engineering staff.
- Perform design reviews, QA / QC checks, and ensure adherence to industry standards.
- Act as a technical advisor on advanced engineering concepts and methods.
- Develop and manage project scopes, cost estimates, and schedules for Substation and P&C projects.
- Supervise and coordinate a team of engineers and technicians.
- Participate in project-specific meetings with clients and internal teams.
- Travel to other office locations and client sites as required.
