- Conduct geological mapping, surveys, and field assessments across diverse terrains.
- Prepare environmental submissions and permit applications, including NPDES, HOP, PNDI, GP 104, and related permits.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state (PA), and local environmental laws and regulations, with Ohio knowledge a plus.
- Collaborate and coordinate with regulatory agencies such as the DEP, EPA, and the Army Corps of Engineers.
- Assist with wetland delineation, mitigation planning, and environmental impact assessments.
- Use software tools like ArcGIS, AutoCAD, and/or hydrologic/hydraulic software to support mapping and analysis efforts.
- Bachelor's degree in Geology or a related field (Required).
- GIT certification (Required); PG license in Pennsylvania (Preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant geology experience with expertise in mining and related topics.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental laws (PA required, OH preferred).
- Experience with relevant submissions and permits, including NPDES, HOP, PNDI, GP 104.
- Strong understanding of wetland delineation and mitigation techniques.
- Physical ability to conduct fieldwork in varying terrains and weather conditions.
- Proficiency with ArcGIS, AutoCAD, and hydrologic/hydraulic software.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills for agency interaction and team collaboration.
Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
