Industrial Process Engineer

Oxford Solutions has a client looking for a Process Engineer to join their production team and help enhance efficiency and streamline manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for improving production systems and experience with Lean Manufacturing principles.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the production/manufacturing team to analyze and optimize manufacturing processes.
• Utilize AutoCAD for CAD design to support production improvements.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing principles, including Kanban, Kaizen, 5-S, and Six Sigma methodologies, to enhance process efficiency.
• Optimize manufacturing runs to improve productivity and reduce waste.
• Continuously assess and refine current production processes to align with best practices and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Manufacturing engineering preferred or a combination of education and experience.
• 2-3 years of experience in process engineering, with a strong focus on manufacturing environments.
• AutoCAD proficiency required.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles, including Kanban, Kaizen, 5-S, and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
