Oxford Solutions is working with a client seeking a Lead Security Analyst to take ownership of the development and implementation of their information security program to ensure ongoing compliance with security policies and standards. The ideal candidate will have experience writing security procedures, a strong understanding of networking and systems security, and knowledge of Palo Alto networks as a bonus.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the process owner for the organization’s information security program
- Develop and implement security policies, standards, and procedures
- Ensure the availability, integrity, and confidentiality of information resources
- Identify and mitigate security risks while ensuring compliance with applicable security policies
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to integrate security best practices into projects and operations
- Conduct security audits, risk assessments, and compliance checks
- Lead incident response efforts and recommend improvements based on security incidents
- Stay up to date with emerging threats and industry security trends
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- 6 years of experience in information security management, IT audit, or IT risk management (or 3 years with a Master's degree)
- Experience writing and implementing security procedures
- Strong understanding of networking and systems security
- Knowledge of Palo Alto networks is a plus
- CISSM certification preferred
- Project management experience is a plus
