Lead Software Engineer

Oxford Solutions currently has an opening with our client located in Peachtree City, GA for a Lead Software Engineer. In this role, the Software Engineer will be focused on delivering cutting-edge technology and exceptional user experiences for customers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of AWS IoT cloud infrastructure and mobile applications (Android / iOS).
  • Define and execute software architecture, design, and code refactoring.
  • Develop and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing connected solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet product requirements.
  • Integrate sensors, microcontrollers, and edge devices with IoT platforms.
  • Implement secure communication protocols (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, CTA-2045).
  • Drive DevOps best practices and CI / CD for IoT applications.
  • Incorporate AI / ML algorithms for advanced data analysis.

Qualifications :

  • BS / MS / PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 7 years of software development experience.
  • Proficiency in C / C# / C , Java, Python, and modern languages.
  • Expertise in iOS, Android, Linux applications, and cloud platforms (AWS).
  • Experience with IoT protocols (MQTT, BACNET, MODBUS) and embedded systems.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and database technologies (SQL, NoSQL).
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins).

    • Preferred Skills :

  • Familiarity with Alexa, Google Home, Samsung SmartThings, and Apple HomeKit.
  • UI / UX design experience for mobile and web platforms.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
