Mechanical Engineering Sales Specialist

The Junior Sales Engineer will play a crucial role in developing new business opportunities, optimizing fabricated parts, and collaborating with internal teams to drive efficiency and growth. Key responsibilities include:

• Gathering and analyzing product and production data to support fabrication processes.
• Researching and sourcing raw materials for manufacturing solutions.
• Creating engineering drawings to assist with process documentation and cost estimation.
• Working with the estimating team to optimize fabricated part designs for efficiency and cost savings.
• Conducting market research to identify new opportunities and support business development.
• Engaging in cold calling and outreach to develop potential customer relationships.
• Preparing quotations, proposals, and cost analyses for new projects.
• Collaborating with sales, marketing, and production teams to align strategies.
• Assisting in sales support activities, including webinars, conferences, and trade shows.
• Maintaining accurate records of research, quotations, and project data.

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering, preferably with AutoCAD experience. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe PDF. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings is also required. A detail-oriented approach and willingness to travel as needed are additional assets. Prior experience in quotation, project, or material management is a plus.
