Oxford Solutions is working with our satellite communication client looking to fill a role for a Principal Satellite Payload Engineer to support the development and production of next-generation satellite payload technology for NTN-LEO applications. This role involves collaborating with satellite manufacturers and internal engineering teams to optimize satellite design, manufacturing, and performance.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with satellite manufacturers to ensure all system requirements are met for LEO operations.
- Establish and monitor technical objectives, specifications, and project plans.
- Conduct design reviews and trade analyses to optimize satellite and constellation performance.
- Lead payload component selection and vendor evaluations to ensure quality and reliability.
- Analyze satellite and constellation reliability, balancing cost, performance, and user experience.
- Oversee high-volume LEO satellite production, including supply chain, assembly, and testing.
