Opening with our client for a QA / QC Technical Specialist.
Shift Hours: 2:30 pm - 1:00 am (30 min lunch)
In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our products meet established specifications and quality standards. You will interact daily with various departments, including plant personnel, process engineers, and supply chain, to maintain consistent product quality.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our products meet established specifications and quality standards. You will interact daily with various departments, including plant personnel, process engineers, and supply chain, to maintain consistent product quality.
Responsibilities
- Conduct physical testing and inspections on incoming samples and raw materials to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Prepare and test raw materials, in-process, and finished product samples, adhering strictly to written instructions and specifications.
- Communicate quality issues effectively with supervisors, maintenance teams, operators, shipping/receiving, and other QA team members.
- Maintain accurate records and reports associated with quality control functions, including processing transactions in SAP.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving quality concerns by collaborating closely with process engineers and supply chain personnel.
- College experience in Chemistry or a related science field is preferred.
- Prior experience in a laboratory or quality control setting.
- Strong communication skills to facilitate clear and effective communication of quality issues across departments.
- Proficiency in computer systems, particularly with SAP, for maintaining records and transactions.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to follow complex written instructions and procedures.
