Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings is also required. A detail-oriented approach and willingness to travel as needed are additional assets. Prior experience in quotation, project, or material management is a plus.
Key responsibilities include:
- Gathering and analyzing product and production data to support fabrication processes.
- Researching and sourcing raw materials for manufacturing solutions.
- Creating engineering drawings to assist with process documentation and cost estimation.
- Working with the estimating team to optimize fabricated part designs for efficiency and cost savings.
- Conducting market research to identify new opportunities and support business development.
- Engaging in cold calling and outreach to develop potential customer relationships.
- Preparing quotations, proposals, and cost analyses for new projects.
- Collaborating with sales, marketing, and production teams to align strategies.
- Assisting in sales support activities, including webinars, conferences, and trade shows.
- Maintaining accurate records of research, quotations, and project data.
