Sales Engineer - Fabrication Solutions

Oxford Solutions is a leading manufacturer seeking a skilled Sales Engineer to contribute to its growth and success. As a Junior Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, optimizing fabricated parts, and collaborating with internal teams to drive efficiency and growth.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Gathering and analyzing product and production data to support fabrication processes.
2. Researching and sourcing raw materials for manufacturing solutions.
3. Creating engineering drawings to assist with process documentation and cost estimation.
4. Working with the estimating team to optimize fabricated part designs for efficiency and cost savings.
5. Conducting market research to identify new opportunities and support business development.
6. Engaging in cold calling and outreach to develop potential customer relationships.
7. Preparing quotations, proposals, and cost analyses for new projects.
8. Collaborating with sales, marketing, and production teams to align strategies.
9. Assisting in sales support activities, including webinars, conferences, and trade shows.
10. Maintaining accurate records of research, quotations, and project data.

The successful candidate will have a degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering, preferably with AutoCAD experience. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe PDF. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings is also required. A detail-oriented approach and willingness to travel as needed are additional assets. Prior experience in quotation, project, or material management is a plus.
