**Job Summary:**
The Housekeeping Supervisor position at The Oxford Collection of hotels involves overseeing and supervising the daily activities of the housekeeping staff to ensure high standards of cleanliness and sanitation are consistently maintained. The primary goal is to achieve and uphold the hotel's cleanliness standards to ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction.
**Responsibilities:**
- Supervise and oversee the daily activities of the housekeeping staff
- Coordinate with the Housekeeping Manager to determine labor needs and adjust staffing levels
- Prepare assignment sheets for Housekeepers and allocate duties to staff
- Conduct staff meetings to communicate information, address concerns, and provide updates
- Train and evaluate staff according to the hotel's standards
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety and sanitation regulations
- Respond to emergency situations and report maintenance repairs promptly
- Maintain quality control standards and perform regular cleaning programs
- Inspect rooms and public areas to evaluate cleanliness and recommend improvements
- Prepare and review reports as requested by Management
- Interact with guests, identify issues, and resolve problems effectively
- Coordinate with other hotel staff for smooth service delivery
**Qualifications:**
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Experience in housekeeping or cleaning services is advantageous
- 1 years of supervisory experience preferred
- Hospitality or hotel work experience is beneficial
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable and consistent attendance
**Physical Requirements:**
- Capable of performing physical tasks in a variety of conditions
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry objects up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to bend, squat, crawl, kneel, and walk on uneven surfaces
- Comfortable with walking outside in various weather conditions
- Ability to climb stairs indoors and outdoors
