Oxford Veterinary Hospital has been a cornerstone of the Oxford, NC community for over 70 years, and we’re looking to add a compassionate and motivated veterinarian to our team! Our beloved Dr. Taylor is retiring, creating an exciting opportunity for a new team member to continue delivering exceptional care to our wonderful patients. This is a great chance to join a well-established practice with a dedicated support staff, great work-life balance, and a positive, collaborative environment.
About Our Practice:
- Hospital Features: Our clinic is an extension of our long history in the area, with modern updates in place. We have 3 exam rooms, a comfort/consult room, a dental suite, a surgical suite, and a dedicated treatment area.
- Equipment: We provide access to ultrasound technology to aid in diagnosis and care, and are always looking to stay current with the latest advancements.
- Patient Base: We see an 80% dog and 20% cat patient base, with a typical caseload of 12-16 patients per day.
- Work Environment: We value collaboration, and our doctor-to-technician ratio is excellent (2 technicians for every 1 doctor). We have assistants currently working towards becoming RVTs, and Dr. Thompson has a special interest in dentistry.
We offer personalized, high-quality care with a focus on building long-term relationships with both our patients and their owners. We're known for our small-town charm, walk-in appointments, and flexible scheduling. You’ll be joining a supportive and experienced team that includes assistants working toward becoming RVTs and a doctor with advanced interests in dentistry.
