What are the responsibilities and job description for the Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning Technician position at Oxi Fresh Carpet Cleaning?
Oxi Fresh Carpet Cleaning of Southeast Idaho is looking for a full-time carpet and upholstery cleaning technician. Vehicle and training will be provided. You will be servicing residential and commercial customers in Rexburg, Idaho Falls and Pocatello and will need to be comfortable interacting with homeowners.
Compensation is piece-rate with commission on additional services you upsell. This provides an opportunity for our technicians to make more money while providing an optimal cleaning service as efficiently as possible. This averages around $18-$30/hour.
Our technicians are the face of the company and we are looking for someone who can do a quality job with attention to detail as well as have the charm and personality to provide excellent customer service.
We use a state of the art VLM Encapsulation system which uses 90% less water than truck mounted hot water extraction processes. We don't use hoses and our system boasts a 1 to 2-hour dry time. Our machine weighs 50 lbs and can be a little awkward to unload and carry but it does have a dolly system that Velcros to the base so you can wheel it around easier. Once the machine is on carpet it is easy to move around as it glides across the carpet. Upholstery cleaning is also required with this position and the equipment and training will be provided.
