Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Scheduler to join our team. Duties
- Develop and maintain project schedules using construction management software, including Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
- Collaborate with project managers to establish timelines for various phases of construction projects.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources.
- Monitor project progress and adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate changes or delays.
- Prepare reports on project status, including updates on timelines, milestones, and potential issues.
- Assist in contract management by tracking deadlines and deliverables outlined in contracts.
- Facilitate communication between team members on the construction site to ensure alignment on scheduling needs.
- Utilize project management skills to identify risks and propose solutions to keep projects on track.
Requirements
- Proven experience in project scheduling within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in construction management software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project is preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction management principles and practices.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members, contractors, and clients.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with project coordination techniques and tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of contract terms related to scheduling is beneficial.
