• Directly reports to the OPC Security Supervisor in Houston.
• Supports OPC Security Supervisor with administrative and operational duties.
• Coordinates security force assignments, training and scheduling.
• Provides supervision of contract security personnel.
• Identify security threats and respond appropriately and in a timely manner.
• Comply with company and departmental orders, procedures, memos, directives, and requests.
• Proficient in First Aid, CPR and AED Certifications.
• Act as a liaison for emergency and law enforcement services.
• Record and maintain pertinent information relative to security operations.
• Perform security support tasks as directed and/or needed.
• Assist in maintaining all equipment supporting Security in the Houston Security Command Center.
• Monitor and/or operate access control, closed circuit television and security related systems.
• Coordinate security efforts with internal and external clients.
• Assist the Corporate Security team with investigations and site assessments.
• Safely operate company vehicle and support equipment as required/or needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• High school degree or equivalent required; college degree preferred
• 5 years of professional security experience preferred
• Law enforcement and/or corporate security experience preferred
• Strong customer service, excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency and understanding of physical security principles, practices and operations
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work overtime, after-hours and weekends if necessary
• Ability to integrate seamlessly into the security structure of a major corporation
• Ability to react effectively with sound judgment in dynamic situations
• Ability to follow instructions, with good attention to details
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time
• Must have a valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record

Desired Qualifications:

• Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving capabilities
• Strong computer skills
• Knowledge of electronic security systems desirable/preferred
