This SAP Finance Advisor position will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the SAP Finance modules (General Ledger, Controlling, Fixed Assets, Project Systems) for the OxyChem business. This role involves troubleshooting, configuring, and providing end-user support to ensure smooth and efficient processes within the SAP environment.
Key Responsibilities
Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science, Business, Engineering or related fields).
Direct experience with SAP and the Finance & Controlling modules in S/4.
Good people skills and customer service focus.
Good written and verbal communications skills.
Self-motivated and can work in a team environment with little supervision.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities.
Ability to work overtime/weekends and be on call as required.

This SAP Finance Advisor position will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the SAP Finance modules (General Ledger, Controlling, Fixed Assets, Project Systems) for the OxyChem business. This role involves troubleshooting, configuring, and providing end-user support to ensure smooth and efficient processes within the SAP environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SAP Finance issues, including error analysis, resolution, and user assistance.
- Work closely with OxyChem accounting and finance teams to understand business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
- Configure and customize SAP Finance functionalities to improve financial processes and meet business needs.
- Perform testing as needed for SAP updates and patches.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to SAP Finance configuration and processes.
- Train and support end-users as needed.
- Collaborate with internal IT teams and external consultants on system enhancements, upgrades, and integration with other technologies and third-party applications.
- Coordinate and maintain all of OxyChem’s integrations with external software, especially IBM Planning & Analytics that is used by the Finance organization for reporting and outlooking.
