Fall Opening for a Math Specialist
Oyster River Cooperative School District is seeking a full-time Math Specialist to work with staff and students at the Middle School. Candidate must be NH certified with the ability to teach Algebra and Geometry
This person will be responsible for implementing an instructional program that meets the needs of all students (grades 5-8), integrates research-based strategies, and is aligned with the district’s math curriculum and the New Hampshire Frameworks. The purpose of the Math Specialist/Teacher is to provide targeted instruction to Tier II and III students, lead the MTSS Team for mathematics, implement targeted instruction for acceleration, and to support teachers in the area of math interventions and instructional strategies to raise student achievement.
NH teacher’s certification and master’s degree or higher in a related educational area preferred. Relevant classroom experience and knowledge in MTSS also preferred.
