Ozark Aeroworks LLC (OZARK) is the OZARK Model T53 Engine Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). OZARK also provides full maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO)—including fuel accessories, machining, and welding capabilities, providing for fast shop component repairs. The OEM and MRO businesses are collocated in our Springfield, MO facility. OZARK’s primary MRO product lines include the T53 Engine, T53 fuel controls and governors, and Rolls-Royce M250 Engine (specifically the C47, C30, and C20 models). As the OEM, OZARK is a full-service provider of new parts, MRO, and engineering services.

To help us continue growing, we are seeking a motivated Logistics Specialist, MRO Warehouse to join our highly skilled team. This position will report directly to the Director of Material Logistics.
JOB FUNCTION / PURPOSE
The Logistics Specialist will be responsible for assisting in all activities relating to warehousing of aviation parts and materials incuding packaging, recording, counting, documenting, and shelving of aviation parts, engines, and supplies for Ozark Aeroworks MRO in accordance with all internal processes and external regulatory requirements. The position is in a fast-paced turbine engine overhaul facility.
It is expected that this person will be actively engaged in the following:
PRINCIPLE ACTIVITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
- Processing the receiving of aviation material and articles from our company ERP system (Quantum).
- Adhering to both regulatory and local instructions and methods of handling, documenting, and storage of aviation parts and materials.
- Verifying paperwork and communicating with team for proper storage and handling of aviation parts and materials for storage, cycle counts, physical inventory, and verification of parts’ shelf life.
- Maintain a clean and efficient warehouse area.
- Review, maintain, and improve the organization and storage of multiple segregated material locations based on condition and use of articles. This is for both stock and non-stock articles for company use.
- Verifying packaging and documentation for customer provided items and transport containers for purchase orders, repair orders, and work orders.
- Coordinate with multiple levels of supervision to determine priorities, and task schedules, based on customer (internal and external) demands.
- Verify and accurately pull/pick and transport required items needed for technicians within our facility.
- Handling freight by use of a pallet jack and / or forklift.
- Concise communication, both verbal and written.
- Intradepartmental cross training may be encouraged or required.
KEY OBJECTIVES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Maintain documentation and quantity accuracy of parts, documents, and quality controls of parts belonging to customers and company.
- Maintain warehouse safety of parts belonging to customers and company.
- Maintain preservation, packaging, and identification of inventory.
- Conduct weekly cycle counts for all warehouses with stringent accuracy.
- Conduct part condition and integrity reports for all warehouses stringent accuracy.
- Placing approved items in appropriate warehouse locations per standard processes and procedures.
- Maintain and update warehouse location for all parts in all warehouses both physically in the warehouse and digitally in the ERP.
- Weekly and monthly audit reports of parts and materials.
- Maintain warehouse workspace cleanliness.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience: 1–2 years of warehouse, stocking, parts pulling experience, preferred.
- Experience with using inventory software and operating warehouse equipment.
- Experience with sorting and storing material and inspecting/tracking inventory.
- Proficient in Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc)
OTHER
- Must have valid authorization to work in the United States.
- Pre-Employment Verifications: Must be able to pass background check and drug test
- Physical and Environmental Requirements: This position can be very active and require standing, walking, bending, and kneeling for extended periods of time throughout the day. Employee may have to lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and repetitive use of hands.
- Working Conditions: Will be exposed to office and shop environments. Work environment includes office, MRO shop, clean line, and other operational areas.
- Position Type: Full-time, onsite, Mon-Fri 7:30a-4p (overtime may be required at times based on needs of the business)

COMPENSATION
- Hourly rate based on level of experience, certifications, level of competency and past performance.
