Job Description Summary: Minimum starting salary $18.00 / hour
Provides employment services to individuals enrolled in the Community Care Program (CCP) who are interested in finding competitive employment. Follows the principles of Individual Placement and Supports (IPS). Relates effectively with interdepartmental personnel, clients, Vocational Rehabilitation staff, and other community partners.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree (undergraduate degree) in mental health, or social services, business, personnel management, or vocational services from an accredited college or university, or experience equivalent to undergraduate degree in mental health or social services, business, personnel management, or vocational services.
Responsibilities:
- Maintains regular contact with assigned clients, clients’ family members/guardians/chosen supports, and employers to identify competitive employment opportunities with each client.
- Teaches clients how employment may affect/offset any state and federal benefits they receive.
- Follows the principles of Individual Placement and Support.
- Networks with community partners, potential employers, and other vocational resources to explore job openings in the community. Facilitates a working relationship with Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor(s) and staff.
- Accurately documents clients’ progress using individualized progress notes, career profiles, employment plans, and other documentation required Ozark Center and Vocational Rehabilitation; completes documentation within expectations established by IPS Fidelity, State and Federal regulations, and Ozark Center Policies and Procedures.
- Assists clients with identifying the supports they may need to be successful in the workforce.
- Collaborates with clients to develop individualized, person-centered, and strengths-based employment goals, objectives, and interventions, and ensures that clients’ treatment plans are updated regularly.
- Completes quarterly outcomes, semi-annual client satisfaction surveys, and all required trainings and Human Resource requirements, as well as annual system wide goals, to ensure compliance with regulations and as dictated by Ozark Center.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
- Able to drive and get in and out of vehicle frequently
- Tb test upon hire.
