Ozark Fiber seeks a Customer Service Representative to work out of our Lebanon, MO business office.
Job Description
This position is responsible for supporting the company’s growth by providing a superior customer experience, and includes without limitation:
- Managing customer communications received via multiple sources, including in-person or walk-in, phone, email, text, website and social media sites.
- Understanding and effectively communicating the company’s product, service offerings, availability, and pricing.
- Performing lead conversion activities.
- Following up, as needed, with customers and potential customers: to accurately complete service orders; to schedule, reschedule, or cancel work orders; and to notify customers of appointment updates.
- Performing dispatch functions, including scheduling work orders and routing technicians as needed.
- Following all standardized processes and procedures.
- Completing all training programs as required.
- Resolving customer requests as quickly and efficiently as possible while maintaining a pleasant and professional demeanor.
- Collaborating with appropriate internal resources as needed.
- Identifying, escalating, and providing communication functions for priority service issues.
- Ability to wear many hats including, as requested, performing marketing functions, direct sales functions, and performing basic technical troubleshooting of service issues.
Experience and Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills, including a positive phone demeanor.
- Demonstrated “calm and collected” demeanor under pressure and stress.
- Strong follow-up skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Exceptional attendance and punctuality.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
