What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacy Technician position at Ozark LTC Rx?
- Report to order entry department manager
- Work closely with other order entry department employees
- Enter prescriptions for pharmacist verification accurately
- Answer phone calls in regards to new prescriptions, refills, or other
- Answer phone calls in a prompt and professional manner
- Resolve issues concerning prescription discrepancies and clarifications
- Assist with billing prescriptions for first fill

- Comfortable in dealing with numbers and processing prescription information

Physical Job Requirements
- Sitting 6-8 hours
- Having range of motion from kneeling, to bending, to raising arms above head to retrieve stock
- Lifting and/or carrying up to 40lbs
- Working off a computer screen for 6-8 hours a day
