Key Responsibilities:
- Install and configure van components, such as lighting, audio systems, communication devices, and security features.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose systems to ensure proper functionality.
- Collaborate with the team on complex modifications to achieve high-quality outcomes.
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and installation instructions.
- Keep accurate records of installations and modifications.
- Adhere to safety standards and industry regulations throughout each project.
- Perform final quality checks to meet both company and client expectations.
- Provide technical support to customers when necessary.
- Proven experience in vehicle installation or a similar automotive role.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, wiring, and electronics.
- Skilled in using hand and power tools, with the ability to quickly adapt to new tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
- Physical stamina to lift and maneuver heavy components.
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Certification in automotive technology or a related field is a plus.
- A strong moral compass and commitment to doing the right thing, even when it’s challenging.
- Employment Status: 1099 Independent Contractor (flexible schedule)
- Compensation: Up to $45 per hour, with pre-determined hours for each project (e.g., a suspension kit installation may be allocated 20 hours).
- Schedule: Tuesday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM, with flexibility available once established.
