We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team in a hospital setting. Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to established menus and dietary restrictions.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas.
• Support food production processes, including portioning, plating, and serving meals.
• Collaborate with the dietary department to ensure all food items are stored properly and labeled correctly.
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with patients and staff regarding meal preferences and dietary needs.
• Follow safety protocols while handling food and kitchen equipment.
• Participate in training sessions to stay updated on best practices in food service and nutrition.

Requirements

• Knowledge or experience in dietetics or food service is preferred.
• Familiarity with sanitation practices related to food preparation and handling.
• Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare environment is a plus.
• Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during meal service periods.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting while also being self-motivated.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, staff, and other departments.
