Position Overview: We are seeking dedicated Night Time Behavioral Health Technicians to join our dynamic team at our Center for Respite and Recovery Services in KCMO. As a Night Time Behavioral Health Technician, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety, security, and well-being of our residents during overnight hours. Your compassionate presence and commitment to maintaining a nurturing environment will contribute significantly to the success of our program.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide a safe and supportive environment for residents during nighttime hours.
  • Conduct routine checks to ensure residents' well-being and adherence to program guidelines.
  • Assist residents in case of emergencies or crisis situations.
  • Document and report any incidents, observations, or concerns.
  • Conduct chore checking and ensure completion of assigned tasks by residents.
  • Maintain documentation of nightly activities and interactions.
  • Facilitate a respectful and peaceful living environment by enforcing program rules and policies.
  • Collaborate effectively with daytime staff to ensure a seamless transition of care.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in a similar role (nighttime or security) is preferred but not required.
  • Experience working in the recovery field is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathetic and compassionate demeanor.
  • Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.
  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Respect for diverse backgrounds and experiences.
  • Commitment to promoting a culture of recovery, support, and respect.
